In order to support operating costs not covered by tuition, donations are
needed each school year. The cost of providing each student with the
exceptional education she deserves has made this fund a necessity. Your
contribution will not only assist with the overall functionality of the Hewitt
School, but will also help keep us a step ahead in the following areas:
Athletics
Athletics help teach self-respect, respect for others, fair play, teamwork and
pride. Hewitt students learn these valuable lessons through a wide range of
physical education classes and after-school sports. Performance and competition
in these activities requires uniforms, sporting equipment and gym improvements,
which would not be possible without contributions through Annual Giving.
Creative Arts
We push our students to discover and develop their creativity through a variety
of classes and after-school clubs. The creative arts program begins in the
Lower School and continues on until graduation from the Upper School. Materials
needed to help our students realize and execute their creative concepts are
funded from Annual Giving.
Facilities
Overall maintenance of the Hewitt School building, along with necessities such
as electricity, heating and campus upkeep are necessities that cannot be
overlooked. Nor would they be possible without Annual Giving from our donors.
Faculty
Essential to our students’ learning experience is a highly qualified
teaching faculty. Hiring the best faculty available is what we owe our
students. Through Annual Giving contributions, we are not only able to hire and
retain wonderful teachers, but to support and promote professional development
and competitive salaries as well.
Financial Assistance
At the Hewitt School, we are devoted to socio-economic diversity. Donations
rendered through Annual Giving make the Hewitt School a possibility for
students who may not be able to afford it on their own.
Technology
Annual Giving donations enable us to keep our classrooms up-to-date with the
latest technologies. From upgrading of outdated software, to the redesign of
our internet and intranet sites, we will continue to seek out the best ways to
keep up with technology.
