Your daughter’s education is a top priority, and financial
aid is available for those who qualify. A limited amount of funding
is available each school year in the form of tuition grants and
scholarships, and is awarded based on the student’s need,
character and performance. Parents who wish to apply for aid must
file the Parents’ Confidential Statement of the School Scholarship
Service as well as submit copies of income tax returns. All forms
may be requested from the Hewitt School business office.
For those interested, additional financial aid arrangements can
be made with an independent agency if so desired. For more information
about this process, please request a brochure from the school business

The quality of education and unique experiences found at the Hewitt
School are intended for girls of every background. If financial
aid is a necessary step for you and your daughter, please don’t
hesitate to seek it.
FINANCIAL AID CANDIDATES
- Complete the Parents’ Financial Statement form* (PFS), which will be mailed to you after your daughter’s application is received.
- Send the original PFS form to the Service for Financial Aid (SSS). Request that an SSS report be sent to Hewitt (School Code 3850).
- Send the Office of Admissions a copy of your completed PFS, copies of your 2006 1040 Federal Income Tax returns, W-2 and/or 1099 forms, and Schedule C and depreciation forms (if applicable). 2007 tax documents will be requested when appropriate.
- All financial aid documents must be submitted by January 15, 2008. Financial aid funds are limited. If your daughter’s admissions file and financial aid file are not complete by January 15 we may not be able to offer you financial assistance.
*You may also download a PFS form at https://sss.ets.org/ or enter the application online.
COMPREHENSIVE FEES 2007-2008:
KINDERGARTEN-GRADE 12: $31,000**
The school combines tuition and mandatory fees into the comprehensive fee which is payable in three installments.
**Excluded from comprehensive fees is the cost of a student laptop for grades 8-12.
